My Story
Previously, Liz was the Assistant Director at Zoo Boise where she led the visitor service departments focusing on the zoo’s conservation programs, special events, communications, financial management and admissions. In 2016, Liz was a recipient of the Tribute to Women and Industry Award (TWIN) from the Women’s & Children’s Alliance. In her time with the zoo, Liz was most proud to help with the creation of ground-breaking conservation programs that raise money to support the protection of endangered species around the world. Since its creation in 2006, the Zoo Boise Conservation Fund has raised more than $3 million for a number of wildlife organizations.
Liz is a lifelong Idahoan and enjoys exploring the beauty of this great state on her paddleboard or her bike. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from Vassar College, with a minor in Music & Culture. She has spent her entire career working with a variety of nonprofit organizations, including the Idaho Shakespeare Festival and Idaho Nonprofit Center. She is excited to use her creative and management skills to support CVI’s mission to protect Idaho’s quality of life.
