My story

I’m a conservation voter because I am passionate about sustainability and sound environmental stewardship. I do what I can to opt for sustainable choices in my own consumption and transportation, and I’m proud to work for an organization that works to make sustainable choices accessible for all.

I grew up in the Treasure Valley and was fortunate to enjoy frequent camping trips on Idaho’s public lands with family and friends. Some of my best childhood memories include weekend treks up Table Rock, backpacking to beautiful mountain lakes, camping at Bruneau Sand Dunes, seeing the petroglyphs at Canyon County’s Celebration Park, and rafting on the Payette and Boise rivers. These experiences shaped my perspective on the importance of minimizing the impact of modern human activity on the environment, and protecting fragile ecosystems and cultural sites.

After college I was a legislative staffer for the Idaho Senate minority leadership during the 2018 Idaho legislative session. That experience allowed me to get an up-close understanding of the legislative process; it was a tremendous opportunity for which I am very grateful. I then worked as a receptionist in the Boise Mayor’s office before finding my place at CVI.
