My Story

I’m a conservation voter because nature is my happy place. I’m at my happiest when I’m outside, whether that’s hiking or simply enjoying the view, and I want to ensure that all Idahoans, present and future can find their happiness in nature.

I’m proud to have spent most of my life in Sandpoint, Idaho, where I developed a deep love of clean blue waters and skies, pristine forests and epic views. Growing up, I spent most of my free time playing outside in one way or another – skiing, hiking, and boating.

Moving to New York City for grad school showed me just how critical time in nature was to my happiness and well-being. After just a year, I found myself back in Sandpoint, committed to living somewhere where nature was easily accessible.

I’ve been working at non-profits for almost ten years, in a couple of different sectors. I came to CVI from a similar position at Kaniksu Land Trust, where I worked to connect my home community to nature and share the immense value of conservation. My proudest moment at KLT was a successful Grand Opening of Pine Street Woods, a 160 acre community recreation and education property.

As a native Idahoan, I’m excited to share my talent for fundraising, outreach and event planning with the larger Idaho community and help advance the vital role of conservation in protecting what we love most about this great state.
