Tess Wallace promoted to new position, Field Organizer!
We hope you join us in congratulating Tess Wallace who will be our new Field Organizer. Tess will not only manage our voter outreach team as it continues to grow, but she will also help build support for our advocacy and issue campaigns throughout the year.
Tess moved to Boise, Idaho in the summer of 2016 from the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois where she earned a music degree from Columbia College Chicago. She grew up in the small town of Watseka, Illinois, and her parents instilled in her the values of land stewardship, the power of voting, and the courage to stick up for the little guy. Her family would frequently go on bike rides, kayak in the Kankakee river, and fly kites on the beach of Lake Michigan.
In the summer of 2017, Tess was selected to be a fellow for the Idaho Institute for Organizing and Action, where she earned her chops in political organizing and voter mobilization. We were impressed by her tenacity to get things done and hired her to be a part of our voter outreach team. Her strong ability to lead earned her a promotion as our Voter Engagement Manager where she has led our voter outreach team through three successful election cycles and two legislative sessions.

She adds compassion, flair, and energy to our outreach efforts and we are looking forward to her bringing those strengths to her new role as Field Organizer. In her free time, Tess enjoys volunteering, playing guitar, and spending quality time with her cats Dwayne and Pepper.
