(Re) Introducing Ryan McGoldrick

Ryan McGoldrick returns to CVI as our Communications Fellow

Please join us in rewelcoming Ryan McGoldrick who will be rejoining CVI as our Communications Fellow during the 2020 Idaho Legislative session. As Communications Fellow, Ryan will be assisting with our outreach and advocacy efforts in the Idaho Legislature.

While Ryan grew up in Oregon, his family comes from Orofino, Idaho. He spent time exploring the Clearwater as a child and hiking throughout Northern Idaho while at Gonzaga University.

Professionally, he’s worked across a broad array of areas, including doing trail maintenance in Oregon, helping local entrepreneurs sell environmentally conscious products in Guatemala, and working the night shift at a grain mill in Eastern Washington. Most recently, he has served at CVI as the Legislative Assistant in 2019 and on the Voter Outreach team during the recent election cycle.

Ryan has degrees in environmental studies, marketing, and entrepreneurship from Gonzaga University, as well as a Masters in Public Administration with an emphasis in environmental, natural resource and energy policy from Boise State.

Ryan has a 2 1/2-year-old son that he and his wife have taken on multiple semi-successful camping trips throughout Idaho. Personally, he’s looking forward to raising his son camping, hiking and stargazing in Idaho, and professionally he’s looking forward to helping safeguard our water, air, and natural places for both his own family and for the current and future generations of Idahoans.
