Eliza Walton rejoins CVI as our Legislative Assistant.
We hope you join us in congratulating Eliza Walton, who is our new Legislative Assistant. She started on our Voter Outreach Team where her patience, empathy, and dedication to researching the issues made her a clear choice for our Legislative Assistant role. Eliza will not only keep us in the loop on everything going on in the Idaho Legislature, but she will also be sending weekly emails and appearing live on our Facebook page every Friday at 1:00 p.m. – you don’t want to miss it!
Eliza moved to Boise in the fall of 2013. She is currently working on a degree in climate change communication and behavioral economics with an emphasis in public policy. Eliza grew up in north-central Idaho in a home she helped her family build from timber they sourced from the Nez Perce Clearwater National Forest.
Eliza brings her extensive knowledge of Idahoan values and commitment to protecting the environment to this position, and we are excited to see how she uses her skills to protect the natural environment in our Statehouse. In her free time, Eliza enjoys reading, gardening, volunteering, riding her bike and taking long walks on the Greenbelt.
