Meet Ryan McGoldrick

As the Legislative Assistant at CVI, Ryan will be responsible for supporting our legislative and conservation advocacy activities during the 2019 legislative session.

While Ryan grew up in Oregon, his family comes from Orofino, Idaho. He spent time exploring the Clearwater as a child and hiking around Coeur d’Alene while at Gonzaga University. Professionally, he’s worked across a broad array of areas, including doing trail maintenance in Oregon, helping local entrepreneurs sell environmentally conscious products in Guatemala, and working the night shift at a grain mill in Eastern Washington.

With bachelor’s degrees in environmental studies and marketing as well as a minor in entrepreneurship from Gonzaga University, and a soon to be completed Master’s in Public Administration from Boise State University, Ryan focus has been on how we can continue to protect the wild spaces we love while building the economy of this rapidly growing state.

Ryan has a one and half year old son that he and his wife have taken on multiple semi-successful camping trips throughout Idaho. Personally, he’s looking forward to raising his son camping, hiking and stargazing in Idaho and professionally he’s looking forward to helping safeguard our water, air, and natural places for both his own family and for the current and future generations of Idahoans.

We are thrilled to have Ryan on board. Welcome to the team!
