Meet Cami Murray

We’re thrilled to introduce and welcome a new member of our CVI team, Cami Murray, as our new Development & Outreach Coordinator. Cami will be responsible for developing and implementing our fundraising strategies to help build and enhance CVI’s relationship with our amazing donors and members. She’ll also be assisting in implementing our communications plan to highlight the organization, the people impacted by our programs, the issues we focus on, and the election work we engage in with an emphasis on outreach and engagement of our supporters.

Cami is proud to have spent most of her life in Sandpoint, Idaho, where she developed a deep love of clean blue waters and skies, pristine forests, and epic views. Cami comes to CVI from a similar position at Kaniksu Land Trust, where she spent the last few years working to connect her home community to nature and sharing the immense value of conservation Her proudest moment at KLT was a successful Grand Opening of Pine Street Woods, a 160 acre community recreation and education property. Cami had not only planned and orchestrated the Grand Opening festivities, but had also played a key role in community fundraising for the $2.1 million capital campaign to purchase the property.

Cami has also previously worked in the museum field and holds a Master’s degree in Museum Anthropology, as well as moonlighting in the kitchens of various restaurants in Sandpoint.

Cami is excited to share her talents with the larger Idaho community and help advance the vital role of conservation in protecting what we love most about this great state.

In her spare time, Cami can be found outside – running, hiking, rock climbing, wake surfing, or skiing with her partner Nick and their black lab River.
