Get Out To Vote Boise

It’s Election Day and if we have learned one thing over the years at CVI, who we elect matters now more than ever. Municipal elections can sometimes be sleepy but don’t be deterred. Before the polls come to a close at 8:00 PM we will have hit the streets hard doing what we do best; meeting folks where they are and encouraging positive civic engagement for conservation values. After tens of thousands of phone calls and mail pieces and nearly 33,000 doors knocked in the city of Boise, we are able to say one thing for certain, absolutely nothing will be left on the table.

We are pushing for the passage of the Boise for Clean Water and Open Space ballot measure and the reelection of Boise’s Mayor Dave Bieter, and Boise City Council Members Lauren McLean, Elaine Clegg, and Scot Ludwig. Each of these candidates has support effort to ensure that Boise remains one of the greatest places in the country to live, work, and raise a family.  Over the last year, these city leaders have supported our clean water and open space initiatives, solutions for a clean energy future, and adopted Sustainable Boise–a citywide initiative centered on strategies that create lasting environments, innovative enterprises, and vibrant communities. It is for these reasons we need your vote today!

It is our hope that today, as a conservation supporter, you will get to the polls and support the Boise for Clean Water and Open Space levy and our endorsed candidates candidates. This is Boise’s path and we can only walk it if you lend your voice and support to the effort. Thank you.
