Conservation Voters for Idaho took home the Platinum Transportation Champion award from the Ada County Highway District for logging some major commuting miles. It’s the first year CVI has earned the platinum award. We couldn’t be prouder! The numbers speak for themselves.
But first some photos.

The May in Motion Platinum Transportation Champion award and the bike it rode in on.

CVI staff members Paige McMahon, left, and Crystal Rain meme themselves at the ACHD awards ceremony.
For the month of May, CVI staff members kept track of how they got to and from work, whether that was biking, walking or using public transportation. The result? CVI staff logged 658 miles of “smart commutes,” which saved $142 and prevented 551 pounds of greenhouse gasses from being released into the atmosphere. Whoot! Whoot!

We got some awards.
