Lisa Gonzalez was born and raised in San Bernardino, California. She has called Idaho home since 2007. She attended Skadron College, a vocational/technical school in San Bernardino, for business management. She’s bilingual, English and Spanish. She’s a Notary Public and licensed by the Idaho Department Of Insurance.
She has worked at The Sawtooth Agency, a hub for the Latino community in need of bilingual services for insurance, taxes, notary services, and money exchange. She is a small business owner.
Her hobbies include reading and going on long walks, but most of all she loves quiet time to snuggle with a hot cup of tea and dive into a good read.
She is the proud mother of three young boys. Her youngest is special needs and she is proud of his maturity. Being the parent of a special needs child has been a challenge and given her personal experience with mental health issues. It has made her feel that she wants to advocate for the Spanish speaking families with special needs children.
She donates her time, cleaning homes of the elderly and those who suffer from a mental illness. She enjoys cooking, reading, and gaining knowledge
