Tiera Lewis is a current graduate student and Idaho native. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and graduated with honors at Boise State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree focusing on Environmental Policy. Tiera is passionate about helping marginalized groups, especially those affected by climate change, this fellowship will help her learn more about the policy process and assist in her passion pursuit. During her undergrad years she was President and Events Coordinator of BSU’s Environmental Justice Club for four years and is still involved with many community organizations that fight against marginalized injustice. She spent the beginning of 2020 working for the nonprofit Jannus helping programs that support Idaho refugees. In her free time, Tiera enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, reading in her book club with her sister, and cooking with her husband.
