Marissa Bradsher graduated from CSU Chico with a degree in agriculture and a minor in biology. She is currently completing an MBA at NNU while working full time. For the past ten years Marissa has called Southwestern Idaho home. Marissa works as a crop specialist in sweet corn at Seminis Vegetable Seeds managing the Pre Commercial foundation seed sweet corn program. Her main focus is to maintain the genetics of parent seed that ultimately supply vegetable producers with seed to produce food around the world. This year Marissa participated in the Boise leadership program which gave her a desire to do more for the community and lead to the Idaho Boards and Commissions mentorship program. Marissa has a love for agriculture and enjoys taking the time to educate people interested in knowing more about it. Marissa spends her free time riding her horses, fishing, shooting, snowshoeing, and gardening, cooking , reading, and traveling.
