Meet the 2022 Boards and Commissions Fellowship Cohort

Renee S. Hill

Renee S. Hill was born in Washington, D.C., the nation’s capital. She moved to Boise, with her spouse, after retiring from an exciting career in the Allied Health Profession at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. During her years in the health field, she enjoyed both clinical and research environments, the opportunity to work with scientists from around the world and most importantly, her role as patient care support and patient advocate.

Since moving to Idaho, Renee has been interested in social justice initiatives and lending a helping hand to service. In 2018, she collected dozens of signatures for the expansion of Medicaid eligibility for Idahoans. She has a passion to serve in her community and after hearing of the experience in the pilot Fellowship program from Shari Baber, she was committed to learning ways she can also serve her community that needs more diversity and representation.

In her spare time, Renee enjoys bike rides, walks along the Greenbelt and spending time with family and friends.
