Josh Schreiter is a full-time student at Boise State University and will be graduating with a B.S. in Geoscience in May of 2022. He is active on campus, serving as the Vice President of the Geoscience Club and a student member of the Academic Integrity Committee. After graduation, Josh plans to continue with his education and pursue a Master’s degree in hydrology.
Josh was raised in Meridian, ID, and has long loved the outdoors and been interested in natural resource management. In 2020, Josh was a fellow for the Andrus Center and interned with the Idaho Conservation League. Josh works part-time for the USDA in Agriculture Research Services as a hydrology student trainee.
In his free time, Josh enjoys volunteering at local non-profit organizations. A desire to be an advocate and make a more significant impact in local organizations motivated him to apply for the fellowship. In the program, Josh hopes to network with other community leaders, learn more about the function of boards and commissions, and identify ways he can advance the missions of boards and commissions.
