Trish Walker is forward-thinking and thrives on helping individuals in her professional and personal community to create an inclusive culture where everybody can be their best. Trish was born in Boise, Idaho. She earned her background in diversity as she attended Boise State University earning her degree in Multi-Ethnic Studies with a minor in Dispute Resolution. She said she has always had a passion to advise, educate, and coach her community.
Trish is currently active in various community non-profits where she serves as a board member and event organizer. Trish is also the chapter lead for the Black Employee Network at Micron Technology. Trish said this year’s challenges have made her realize the need to truly create equitable spaces for all.
Trish’s goal as a fellow is to gain a better understanding of boards and commissions, what it means to serve as well as opening the door for women of color to represent and engage in conversations impacting her community.
