Laura Diaz is a first generation Latina woman from Washington. She has lived in Idaho nearly her whole life and has called it her home. She is a support coordinator for a school district where she provides support to families and their students who are experiencing homelessness. Her work is deeply rooted in community and her passion for helping those in need is amplified when it comes to the Latinx population. She holds a BS in Social Science and looks to further her education with a master’s in social work. She is also very driven to see representation in boards that determine many factors directly impacting the Latinx communities. Laura is honored to continue the work that will pave ways for future generations.
