Landon Labosky is a full time graduate student at Boise State University studying Public Administration with an emphasis in State and Local Government Policy and Administration. Having visited Idaho from California almost eight years ago, he was excited to move to Boise and now calls the city his home. Landon currently works as a swim coach for a local swim club and is the diversity, equity and inclusion board member for all the USA swimming clubs in the area.

He applied to the Boards and Commissions Fellowship program to learn more about how to lift underrepresented voices up and how to create a platform for those voices to thrive. He saw a lack of representation of the LGBTQ+ community in government and wants to eventually be in a position of influence in that sphere. What Landon hopes to gain from the program is knowledge on how to advocate for the underrepresented and how to create strong communities based on cooperation amongst members. In his free time, Landon loves to travel as much as possible and spend time in the mountains.
