Cristian Corza is a Boise State University graduate and full-time Community Outreach Specialist for a local nonprofit. Cristian grew up in Boise, Idaho as a first-generation American, which has granted him a broader perspective of the challenges many families face – especially on the fronts of race, equity and equal access to opportunity. He applied for the Boards and Commissions Fellowship program because he believes accurate representation in all levels of local and state government is key to addressing these inequities. From the Fellowship, Cristian wants to learn the procedural ins and outs of boards and commissions, as well as the purview of their authority. In his spare time, Cristian likes to read and go on long hikes.
