Elizabeth Padian is a scientist who hails from Phoenix, AZ and has resided in Boise, ID for nearly a decade. While she has a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Meteorology and a Masters Degree in Hydrologic Sciences, she has recently pivoted into a field of work where politics and environmental advocacy intersect. She also owns a small business and volunteers with a local pet rescue non-profit. Elizabeth applied for the Boards and Commissions Fellowship Program after a friend had recommended it and she did more research. Elizabeth hopes to learn more about how she can participate on boards and commissions within Idaho to promote and advocate for environmentally and climate friendly decisions and policies. She believes her unique background both personally and professionally can bring new perspectives to these spaces. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys kayaking, camping, fostering dogs, and traveling.
