Mario Pile grew up in Sacramento, California with his large family including his parents, seven sisters and two brothers. He graduated from Foothill High School and then attended and got a degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University. He joined the Air Force in 2002, which eventually brought him to Idaho in the summer of 2006. He has served a total of 18 years in the military; 6 years active duty and 12 years in the Idaho Air National Guard, which he is currently serving in. He currently works at Boise State University as an Assistant Director of Development in University Advancement. Mario was recently appointed to the Lee Pesky Learning Center board of directions as well as Boise State Public Radio Board. Mario is happy to have made the Treasure Valley his home and truly enjoys being part of assisting in the creation and future of our youth for a better tomorrow.
