Anne Zabala grew up in the Treasure Valley and graduated from Middleton High School. She then moved to attend the University of Idaho in Moscow where she currently resides. In 2016, Anne received her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in technical writing, graphic design, and organizational science and upon graduation, she made the decision to make Moscow her permanent home. Anne has worked as a field organizer, digital fundraiser, nonprofit executive director, and legislative campaign manager. She is currently serving as Conservation Voters for Idaho’s Campaigns Manager and is in her second term as a Moscow City Councilor. She is passionate about engaging everyone in the political process—particularly young and working class people—and strongly believes in the value of community. In her free time, Anne enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
