After being born and raised in Washington, D.C., I moved to Boise with my spouse, leaving behind an exciting career in the Allied Health Profession at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. For seven years now, I’ve called Idaho ‘home’ and have been interested in social justice initiatives and lending a helping hand to service. As a cohort and graduate of the 2022 CVI’s Boards and Commissions Fellowship Program, I am currently a mentor for the 2023 Fellowship Program and look forward to sharing my experiences that have empowered me to serve my community. I learned to love the great outdoors in my formative years on my grand-parents farm and later teaching my own kids to enjoy nature and to appreciate open spaces. I enjoy walking, riding my bike on the Greenbelt, hiking the foot-hills, fishing in Idaho rivers, amateur gardening and access to public lands. I am enthusiastic to serve on this board to help conserve and protect our land, water, air and natural resources.
