Growing up in the East, my parents made an effort to take our family to the Rocky Mountains every year. Our adventures left a lasting impression on me. After graduating from Bowdoin College and spending two years in the world of finance, the wide-open spaces of the West were calling. Oregon, Montana and Colorado were ‘home’ along the way, until my husband Tom and I settled in the Wood River Valley in 2007 with our two young children. We own a ranch in the Pahsimeroi Valley where we work on a variety of conservation issues. I love Idaho for the iconic mountains, small crowds, wild rivers, rolling hills, kind people, abundant wildlife and serenity.
