I grew up in suburban St Louis and my exposure to the outdoors was limited to city parks and ballfields. That changed as I got older and started exploring the outdoors through scouts and friends. Spring break for me was trout fishing along the Meramec River in the Ozarks. I have enjoyed much of what the outdoors has to offer and, now that I have three grandchildren, want to work to ensure they have access to the same water, skies, and landscapes I’ve enjoyed over the years, which brought me to the CVIEF Board. Additionally I serve on the board of an online charter school and volunteer as a mentor and presenter for CVI’s Boards and Commissions Fellowship Program, from which I graduated in 2021. I currently work as a training manager for a Fortune 25 managed care provider.
